Barry's personal ministry statement

“I have found Christ to be more than just my personal Savior. He is the Sovereign Lord of my life. I am convinced that living by the principles established in His Word is the key to fulfillment and success in life. My main objective in ministry is to become more like Christ and to help others find salvation and purpose in life through Him.”

Prior to coming to Northgate, Barry pastored churches in North Carolina and Alabama.

He earned the A.S. and B.S. degrees from Kennesaw State University, the Master of Divinity in Christian Education and Languages from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and the Doctor of Ministry from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.

Barry, his wife Tina, and their three children reside in Greenville, SC.
