July 9-11 - Toccoa Falls College in GA
Centri-Kid is designed specifically for kids who have completed 3rd - 6th grades. Centri-Kid is home of high-energy worship, age-appropriate Bible study, a highly trained and relational staff, and more fun than you can handle. Centri-Kid believes recreation and team-building activities are a hands-on way for kids to learn more about God. We use recreation and track times to build on what the kids are learning in Bible study and worship. Kids take in information differently and we want to reach kids during worship and play. The staff at Centri-Kid consists of highly qualified college and seminary students from across the county who are Christians with a passion for ministering to children. Staffers make it a point to personally know your kids and mentor them during the week by teaching, equipping, and modeling Christ-likeness.
What do I need to bring to overnight camp? It is hot, so bring a water bottle that you can re-fill and carry with you, linens, towels, pillows, active clothes for the day, clean clothes to wear to worship, Bible, toiletries, sunscreen, camera, spending money for snacks and the camp store, and money for the missions offering.
What should campers NOT bring to camp? Alcohol, tobacco, illegal drugs, fireworks, any kind of weapon, radios, portable CD players, MP3 players, water guns, water balloons, skateboards, and rollerblades (this includes "wheelies"). Cell phones are at the discretion of the group leader and are not to be carried around during the day at camp.
Is there anybody else on campus while we are there? Sure. Although we will take up most of the housing at each camp location, there are other visitors to the conference centers.
How many meals are provided at camps? Meals will be provided. There may be a couple of exceptions. Your group leader will give you more information.
Schedule information: We will leave the church at 12:30 pm on Friday, July 9 and we anticipate arriving back at the church around 12:30 pm on Sunday, July 11. A detailed schedule of the camp will be given at the informational meeting mentioned below.
